Who Are We?
안녕하세요, 샴페인 새생명교회 청년부입니다!⛪️
저희 공동체는 어바나-샴페인 지역의 학부생, 대학원생 및 직장인으로 구성되어 있으며, 주 안에서 믿음의 성숙을 서로 사랑으로 격려하며 주님의 제자로 살길 소망하는 신앙공동체입니다. 이번 ’23 가을 학기에 “Follow the Light!”를 표어로 삼아, 저희는 중요한 청년의 때에 삶의 기준을 말씀에 따라 세우고 이를 삶 속에서 실천하기를 힘쓰려고 합니다!

What Do We Do?
청년부 주요 모임은 매 주 예배 직후에 있으며, 소그룹으로 모여서 설교말씀을 바탕으로 신앙 나눔과 교제를 하고 있습니다. 청년부 주요 행사인 수련회 및 lock-in 때는 집중적으로 하나님을 예배하고 찬양하는 은혜로운 시간을 가지고 있습니다. 그 외에 저희는 주중 성경공부, 바베큐 모임, 피크닉, 종강 Banquet 등의 다양한 이벤트와 보드게임과 운동 등의 액티비티를 통하여 하나가 되는 즐거운 교제의 시간들을 가지고 있습니다. 청년부는 또한 교회의 여러 섬김의 자리에서 찬양팀, 음향팀, 주일학교 선생님 등으로 봉사하고 있습니다.

교회 위치가 캠퍼스에서 약간 떨어졌지만 청년들이 어려움없이 예배와 교제 및 활동에 참석할 수 있도록 체계적인 라이드를 제공하고 있습니다!

Who Are We?
The Young Adult Group of New Life Korean Church welcomes you! Consisting of college students, graduate students, and single adults, we are a community of Christ followers who seek not only to follow in Jesus’s steps but also encourage spiritual growth in each other. “Follow the Light!” is our theme for the upcoming ’23 Fall semester. As we believe it is vital to establish a strong Godly foundation in our youth, this semester, we will go back to the basics and strive to align our everyday lives to God’s Word.

What Do We Do?
The Young Adult Group gathers every Sunday after service in small groups to reflect on Sunday’s sermon and have fellowship with one another. Important events include the Fall Lock-in and Spring Retreat, which are when we set apart time to fully immerse ourselves in God’s Word and to worship and praise Him. We also enjoy hanging out and sharing our lives through various events and activities, such as our weekly Bible study, annual BBQ day, picnics, End-of-the-semester Banquet, and board game and sports gatherings. We also serve in various areas of the church, such as the praise team, sound team, and Sunday school.

Sunday Worship 11 am @ New Life Korean Church (2901 Watterson Ct, Champaign, IL 61822)
*Though the church is situated off-campus, we systematically organize rides every week so that those without cars can come to service!
